Since I was young, I loved to write. Being introduced to an english school and not knowing much english, I worked hard. I mastered it. I memerized words in the thesaurus for fun, and won 2nd place in my school spelling bee. I was great at spelling and grammar, even better than my peers who only spoke english. I would get excited when I was assigned essays, and wrote them out in an hour or less with such detail. My favorite subject was English, where I even got to act out plays and write creative stories. I was a published poet at 14 years old winning the editor's choice award. I wrote a poem book at 14 within a few months. Now, I write because it's fun. My life's purpose has always been to help people, and now I can through writing. I found my calling. It gives me butterflies! Know it's never too late to accomplish your dreams.
Ever since I was a child, I was encouraged to have children since my maiden name is so rare. It's always been ingrained in me that I must have children. So, I have always wanted to be a mother. I dreamed of baby names, cuddles, kisses and I Love Yous. When I became pregnant for the first time, I burst into tears of joy. Finally, it was happening. I would become a mother! My little baby grew in my womb so fast, and time flew by like seconds. As fleeting as that time was, so sadly was my baby's life. I miscarried at 11 weeks and 6 days. I named her Rowan, she will forever be my first baby and she taught me how life is so fragile, and how to cherish every moment, and the pure joy of being a mother for the very first time.
In the following years, I was blessed with two more girls who made it full term, alive and healthy into this world. My universe revolves around them, and they bring me such happiness. They have helped me grow as a woman and as a person, and they have taught me understanding, love, patience and the meaning of life. To see through the eyes of a child, you appreciate such little things like the shape of a cloud or the beauty of a rainbow. It truly is a magical place, and a privilege to be tasked to raise such tiny humans.
I see too often women who isolate themselves at home with their children, not knowing that there are lots of mothers that are in the same boat they are. I created Live Love Mom to banish stigmas against mothers, and to bring them together and help them feel less alone. A lot of mothers feel like they aren't enough, or that they aren't good mothers. With Live Love Mom, I want to offer them a place where they can share their tips and advice, and realise that they are good at what they do.
So, in March 2020 Live Love Mom was born. We are a team of mothers offering content for mothers to help make parenting a little easier.
